DISORDERLY CONDUCT

(TITLE 17-A - MAINE CRIMINAL CODE: PART 2 SUBSTANTIVE 0FFENSES; CHAPTER 21: OFFENSES AGAINST THE PUBLIC ORDER; SECTION 501)

A person is guilty of disorderly conduct if: In a public place he intentionally or recklessly causes annoyance to others by intentionally

  1. Making loud and unreasonable noises;
  2. Activating a device, or exposing a substance, which releases noxious and offensive odors; or
  3. Engaging in fighting, without being licensed or privileged to do so.
