MEIA Announces 2010 Officers & Executive Commmitte


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Press Contact information: Rauni Kew 207-602-8500 Greg Dugal, Executive Director (207)865-6100 Maine Innkeepers Association The Maine Innkeepers Association Announces 2010 Officers and Executive Committee Freeport Maine, December 3, 2009……The Maine Innkeepers Association (MEIA) is pleased to announce that Woody Woodward of Highland Lake Resort in Bridgton has been elected as President by the MEIA Board of Directors and that Cornelius “Connie” Russell of Samoset Resort in Rockport will serve as Chairman of the Board for 2010. Woody Woodward has served on the Board since 2004 and is Vice Chairman of the Town of Bridgton Board of Selectmen. Connie Russell was President of the MEIA Board in 2008 and 2009. A new member of the 2010 Executive Committee is Alvion Kimball, At-Large Member. Alvion has served on the Board since 2007. Alvion also serves on the Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Board and serves as Secretary and Board Member of Downeast Acadia Regional Tourism (DART.)
