The Maine Innkeepers Association Announces its New Officers and Executive Committee
Freeport, ME – January 14, 2005 – The Maine Innkeepers Association (MEIA), a leading provider of information and support to the lodging and tourism industry of Maine, is pleased to announce that Ron Churchill, Bear Springs Camps, Rome, has been re-elected to President of the MEIA Board; and that Maureen McQuade, Inn-by-the-Sea, Cape Elizabeth, will once again assume the role of Chairman of the Board for 2005.
Ron Churchill owns and operates Bear Spring Camps with his wife of twenty years. Established in1910, the American Plan resort sits on Great Pond in Rome, Maine. Churchill has served on the Board of Directors of the Maine Innkeepers Association for ten years. In his position as President of the Association, Churchill will continue to lead the Board in promoting the Association and assisting the Executive Director with day-to-day decision-making. Churchill attended University of Southern Maine

Maureen McQuade is the owner/innkeeper of the luxury 43-room all-suite Inn By The Sea in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She takes on the position of MEIA Chairman of the Board with lots of experience under her belt, as a previous President. McQuade is extremely active in the Maine hospitality industry – as well as MEIA, her roles include Vice President of the New England Innkeepers Association and member of the Maine Office of Tourism Strategic Marketing Committee. In her position as Chairman of the Association, McQuade will continue to provide counsel to the President and the Board.
